Daffodils and Magnolias is a Spring bouquet which was painted in a very loose style for a soft effect.
This has the same two magnolia blossoms (sitting on the table) that are the subject of the painting “Magnolias” which was done in pastels.
If you compare these two paintings, it will give you an idea of the differences between pastels and watercolors. They each have their own unique qualities and advantages.
