Sunflowers in the Sunlight, WC, Framed size 16″ x 20″

I bought a big bouquet of beautiful sunflowers at Art in the Park and then proceeded to paint them. This first one was done very loosely, and then I painted it again in a little tighter style (see Sunflowers II). Flowers are the perfect subject matter to paint loosely, and it is always fun to see what the results will be.
