More Geraniums
More Geraniums, WC, Framed size 16″ x 20″
Geraniums, as you may have noticed, are one of my favorite subjects to paint. This is my most recent attempt at capturing their bright colors and unusual shapes. I started this at a group painting session in Brunswick and later added negative painting and contrast to bring it to conclusion. All flowers are beautiful and appeal to my senses which makes them a perfect subject matter for me to paint. This painting was at the Aquarius Show in February, 2013 that Medina County Art League holds every year in Medina, Ohio.
