The Artist

I have loved art for as long as I can remember, but it wasn’t until my two sons were grown that I began to pursue that interest by taking lessons and joining the Medina County Art League. I started painting with oils and acrylics initially but have settled on watercolors as my main love.

There is a soft natural look to my paintings of flowers, landscapes, still life, people and animals. Still a “work in progress” – I’m always trying to learn new things and take my art to the next level. I like to paint wet-into-wet for a soft effect and appreciate what “happens naturally” with watercolors. And I’ve recently added pastels to my painting experience.
